Teaching University Geomedi is one of the oldest private Higher Education Institution in Georgia and was founded by Professor Marina Pirtskhalava. It is an authorized by the state and successfully implements accredited higher education programs since 1998 on the following faculties:

• Faculty of Medicine
• Faculty of Dentistry
• Faculty of Healthcare Economics and Management
• Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Geomedi’s objective is to inculcate the national and universal values in the field of education, promote the research activities and develop higher and continuing education adequate to international standards. Our mission is to provide students with the conditions, where research, critical thinking, experience sharing, tolerance, continuing professional growth, ethics and social responsibility have priorities, thus ensuring the preparation of competitive, high-qualified specialists.

Geomedi offers students, academic and administrative staff with well-equipped auditoriums, high-tech laboratories, and modern clinical bases, where they receive a quality education. The educational process is conducted by highly qualified Georgian and foreign educators, who impart deep and fundamental knowledge to their students.

University Geomedi is recognized by National Medical Commission of India (NMC) and Council of Higher Education of Turkey (CoHE). University is also a member of  Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE)

University welcomes Georgian and international students who want to receive a high quality education in Georgia.

Geomedi offers international students Medical Doctor (MD) program in English language, which is developed and accredited to WFME standards and recognized by the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). Annual fee is 5500$.
