Central University of Europe is the first private higher educational institution in Western Georgia, which was founded in 1991 in the city of Kutaisi.

Central University of Europe offers students high-quality, international standards-compliant education, various exchange programs and practice-oriented teaching. Central University of Europe implements educational programs of all three levels.

The university has faculties of medicine and social sciences, business and law, within which both Georgian and English educational programs are implemented.

Faculty of Medicine aims to train competent, patient-friendly and care-oriented doctors who will be equipped with knowledge and clinical/research skills matching modern international standards, who will be actively involved in learning, life span and contribute to the welfare of society.

The university has a Simulation Centre that oriented to develope clicnical skills and allow students to learn and practice all the manipulations they will need for professional work through moulages and mannequins. The equipment in the center meets international standards and is gradually updated.

The clinical subjects are based on the British model and maximally serve the students to undergo practice with physicians operating in a clinical setting.

The university has: Chemistry/Biochemistry, Physiological and Microbiological/Immunological Labs, Histology and Anatomy Cabinets.

University is a member of the Association of European Medical Education (AMEE). The association is the world's leading medical education organization with 90 member countries, enabling staff and students to become more actively involved in international conferences, seminars and activities related to medical education.
