Georgian National University SEU is the largest private higher education institution in Georgia, which has been successfully operating in the Georgian educational market since 2002. SEU is a relatively young university, it has established itself locally and internationally as an academic institute providing a high quality of teaching and learning relevant to the curriculum. The team of SEU is constantly growing and it is staffed with local and foreign specialists, whose number is already up to 1000 at this stage.

The University offers students exchange programs at the best universities of the world in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia and many other leading countries of Europe, Asia and America. Also, the opportunity of gaining a dual diploma in German, Portugal and Poland.

In 2024 Georgian National University SEU and the world’s highest-rated university, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, signed an important contract for the development of the country’s education system and Start-up ecosystem. SEU, along with 4 other universities in the world, is a co-founder of the Raise the Bar Entrepreneurship Educators Network, with the initiative of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

In 2022, SEU acquired a share in American Hospital Tbilisi (AHT), one of the biggest multi profile hospitals in Georgia corresponding to the JCI standards (Joint Commission International). AHT has become affiliated partner of SEU, meaning that only SEU students have exclusive opportunity to do the practical courses at ATH.
